The rear panel was firstly marked out and punched to accept valve holders, as was the front panel and main chassis.
The heavy items were then fitted, (Transformers etc), next are the valve holders and turret boards.
The controls are then fitted and the whole unit wired by hand, using the point to point method, trusted and used by major manufacturers over the years, when build time was not an issue, unlike today with printed circuit boards and flow soldering. (No room for quality)!
After wiring has been completed, time to test the amplifier and set it up. That’s it, the birth of a new amplifier. Proudly built with parts sourced in Great Britain, with no worries about bad solder joints as each component is secured mechanically before soldering.

After the chassis is put together and the boards is installed, the wiring between the valve holders and turrets. When wiring, ensure there is a logical routing and the use of colour codes is employed. This has the advantage of easy servicing and improved electrical stability.
